Dear carp lovers,

 

Let’s start with some brief explanation on “who we are” and “what we do”. My name is Geert Asselman and my passion for fishing started back in 1980. I was then a 6-year-old boy and always hanging out by the waterside, together with my father who was – and still is – a keen fisherman. Later on, when I was about 15, I became very passionate about carp fishing and decided to give up line fishing. Several years have passed since then and I have fished a lot of carp fisheries, in Belgium as well as in the Netherlands, Luxemburg, France and Italy.

 

 

In 2002, my wife Liesbeth Wastiels came up with the idea of rolling boilies. For us, The Boilie Factory was born at that very moment. Since then we are literally rolling away, taking into account that we were the only rolling service available in Belgium that steams instead of boils the boilies during processing.

 

Little by little the demand for deep frozen boilies increased. After careful consideration and a lot of thinking, 2007 arrived and the brand “TBF-Baits” was created. Today, we are not just a rolling service but mainly a bait producing company.
